Especially for the gas purification tower with high throughput, the amount of packing is also large, and the plastic plate corrugated packing has a series of advantages such as light weight, low cost and easy replacement. In some special occasions, ceramic plate corrugated packing also has irreplaceable advantages.
Plastic plate corrugated packing is developed after the development and application of metal plate corrugated packing.
The corrugated packing material of plastic plate is mainly polypropylene, which can withstand 100 ℃; Polyvinylidene fluoride PTFE can also be used in foreign countries, and the operating temperature can reach 150 ℃. Other products include polyethylene, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc. Small holes can be opened on the packing plate to improve the mass transfer efficiency. If the requirements are not high, small holes can also not be opened to improve the plate stiffness. The height of the packing plate has a certain relationship with the separation capacity. In industrial application, it mainly depends on the size of tower diameter and operating conditions. The formation and installation of packing shall be consistent with that of metal packing. The surface of plastic filler can be improved by physical, chemical and other methods according to needs.
