Metal Wire Triangular is made by winding metal wires, and its shape is similar to that of a spring. It is also known as triangular elastic packing and belongs to Fenske Spiral packing. The difference between it and a bullet is that each circle it wraps around is not a circle but a triangle, and the triangles between circles are offset by a certain angle. Therefore, from the end face direction, it is a polygonal shape, which has higher filling efficiency.

Dixon ring of hysteresis is higher than the similar entity packing, surface wetting condition is better than general porcelain ring too, thus its film formation rate is higher, and separation efficiency is also higher. The theoretical plate number of Dixon packing is increased with the increase of gas velocity, and at the same time, lower with reducing of the surface wetting rate of packing.
